The science behind the enormous impact of visuals in modern communication will be examined in a very unique way next month at MAD Week’s ‘The Power of the Visual’ keynote.
DDI’s John Speers (pictured) will look at what makes visuals so powerful, and see which brands are using it to their advantage, and how others can do the same.
The discussion will cover both advertising and content creation, looking at how both need to be “highly-visual based and borne out of strategic integrity, executed brilliantly and imbued with the brand’s values”.
Speers, an expert in translating business problems into something simple, easily understood and exciting, will use scientific data and real case studies to show the omnipotent power of the visual in today’s communication channels.
“Customers don’t want to hear from you, they want to engage with you and this talk will explain exactly how,” he says.
“As we find it even easier to swipe a digital page as opposed to turn a physical one the power of the visual has become paramount,” adds Speers.
